Fedena Mobile App

Overview

Fedena Connect is the companion mobile app for Fedena SIS — bringing school admin, parent, student, and teacher workflows from desktop into the pockets of the 40,000+ institutions on the platform.

Problem

Fedena's audience was increasingly mobile-first, but the SaaS surface was desktop-only. Schools needed a way to push notifications, track attendance, and message families without a laptop.

My Role

Product Manager — owned scope, roadmap, and launch from 0→1 across Android and iOS.

Approach & Key Decisions

• ▹ Identified the highest-frequency desktop workflows and prioritized them for the v1 mobile experience.
• ▹ Coordinated with engineering on a shared API surface so mobile didn't fork the SIS data model.
• ▹ Drove a phased rollout across pilot institutions before opening it to the broader customer base.

Outcomes

• ★ 30% adoption increase across institutions after launch.
• ★ Released on Android and iOS in parallel.
